Toa Payoh being invaded

Helped B's teacher today when the class went to Toa Payoh for a 'learning journey' of the neighbourhood. Imagine 36 boys with only 4 adults! and that was only one class. for the past 3 days, 3 classes of P1 boys have been going down to Toa Payoh.
It was a riot, just having to handle one class. hats off to his form teacher!
First we make our way to NTUC. on the way there, we spotted a rat. the boys ran after it and wanted to catch it! at the NTUC, while the manager was trying to brief the boys, many were distracted. could the the poor man turning green! and B's class was the first class he briefed. imagine 2 more! the experience must have swear him off children for a while! theboys were given $3 to do some grocery shopping that the mum instructed them. however, seeing the things that they were supposed to buy and things that they want to buy and with a limited buget, many choose to ignore mummy's shopping list and buy their own things instead! does this reflect their future actions? ignore mummy and choose to do what they want instead. sigh....
at this point, it is abt it is only 10am and the 3 mummys are tired already!
after that, we had snacks and then was to go to HDB Hub to visit the HDB gallery. the air-con cooled us down, got the boys more hyper. while at the 'fabric of a nation' exhibition, managed to occupied the boys by asking them to look for various items on the fabric! thereafter was a walk around the town centre. of course these precious boys complained of the heat, tiredness, etc etc!
notheless, we made our way safely back to school, with dog poo(simeone accidentally stepped on it, causing the bus to stink!)
now teacher say Sept there is a trip to the zoo and she needs our help!...heeelppppppppp!
